Powered by ECRA’s Value-added Growth Model, ECRA’s Response to Intervention, or RTI solution, effectively identifies students in need of remedial intervention. The model computes a probability that an individual student will meet a well-defined criteria in the future, such as meeting or exceeding state standards or college readiness benchmarks. In addition, the model documents individual student growth relative to typical growth profiles of similar students.  Combined, these measures can easily be used to operationalize a definition of “at-risk” to be applied to all students in order to ensure the right students receive the right type of interventions.
